Post your winter setup

Here's mine for winters in the south east, that's the Canadian south east of course. Staggered set up 245 fronts 275 rears with an offset that gives it about a 5mm poke.

Another Canadian car... sadly we are probably the ones who get the crappiest winters😂 these are the square 19" with sottozero 3's. The silver ones are the staggered ones that were loaned to me by the dealership while I waited for mine to arrive. I definitely preferrred the looks of the black wheels over the loaners.

Here in AZ we only have one setup so here's my pic from December 2019. I need to get the car washed so I can get ready for my 2020 winter pic.

Nice setup, do you visually notice the difference in the rear ?

Totally understand especially with over a decade of spending the majority of winter months in frozen Chicago and NJ on business trips digging my rental out from under snow, scraping ice off of all glass and navigating black ice on the way to the office. Some years I spent more time in Chicago than in AZ (2014 included 48 weeks). All in the past now as of August 2019 but the experience helps me appreciate the AZ winters more so than others that complain when the daily high is 50 degrees.

I do need to get some new pics but with COVID-19 the few times I've had the car washed I haven't had the chance to do so. I personally like the profile pic as it shows the chameleon aspect of Tanzenite Blue, i.e., in low lighting it is the closest thing to black I'll ever own for a car exterior. Here's one that shows the shimmering stunning 3-layer Tanzenite Blue paint. That said I'll get the car washed this week and take some new shots.

Now Blooze think about it well! If you switch to an M8 you will not have that gorgeous Tanza II Blue color!

It's not too noticeable really, I know therefore I will always notice it, but it is very subtle. I'll try and put a tape measure to show you.

Planning on having the mobile detailer come on Thursday or Friday as we're facing rain for the next couple of days. Definitely will get some new shots taken once the car is spotless (right now there's a complete layer of dust on it).

Ah the interior... the hidden secret that literally has nothing but stunned parking lot inquiries and the couple of times people have actually followed me to my destination to check out the car. Full leather in Fiona Red/Black. It is absolutely stunning and the perfect offset to the Tanzanite Blue exterior. I have yet had a person ask about the car and then see the interior that doesn't comment on the interior as gorgeous (often a positive expiative is used as well).

Not an option without going the full $5K for Individual on a M8/M8C coupe. When I was doing my builds on one trying to determine whether I'd make the leap over the M850i already on order I focused on Almandin Brown (which I tried to talk my wife into for her X5) or Aventurin Red but in either case I'd have to forgo Sakhir Orange/Black which would be my go to in the way of the Fiona Red/Black I built the M850i around.

I have a heavy optioned sonic blue / black m850 coupe and the m8 convertible pics below. If I had your specd tanzanite and red m850 coupe and bowers I would never get an m8 . Tbh having both I enjoy m850 and drive it more smooth and fast in one and launch 0-60 is almost the same.[IMG][/IMG]

Right with the individual option you could get that just as any color.
Yes all nice colors. Aventurin red I find very slick perhaps less sporty/racy but definitelly discrete, elegant. Actually I was looking and simulating some M8 builds and focusing on color options and I saw the Montegi red does resemble my Sunset orange when there is much light around it or when seen on pictures with certain backgrounds. Then again when observed in other (and darker) lighting conditions the red tone clearly stands out. It's a color I have come to like too.

The irony is the first blue exterior with the Fiona Red/Black interior was via pics from a member here on the forum that picked one up via EU delivery back in the early 2019 release days. Sonic Blue is a beautiful as well as I've seen one out in the wild on the streets here in Phoenix. Enjoy the M850i and M8 Convertible!.

In the early days of just driving around looking at various 2019s at dealers in the area to see as many of the exterior colors I could my wife was with me on one trip which included an Aventurin. She wasn't impressed with it whatsoever but of course left it at "well it's your car so you'll have to decide". When I finally had the chance to see Tanzanite Blue on a lot during the process of my 2nd order she didn't have the same comment.

Any color would look nice on the 8, except for black ironically or I'm tired of black I don't know but I really envy the blues out there.
