Ordered M8 Comp!

Alpine white, black wheels, black interior, carbon pack

First question, what companies, if any, are planning to make an aftermarket exhaust?

I am sure Akrapovic will be. I had one on my M6 and they make it for the new F90 M5. When is your build date. Mine started production last week. Exciting to have someone else to chat with about the car.

Yes please share the deal. Also lots of pics since you ordered the same color combo as I did. I also ordered night vision (lots of deer) and ceramic brakes. My MSRP was almost $170k.

Lease 36 months $5k down, 7500 miles per year $2375 plus tax.
No discounts, full MSRP $160k. Not interested in financing for 60months so it's the lease or buy it outright. I haven't kept a car for more than 2 years in the past so I'll take a bath on this one regardless. Looking at the 24 month lease later today.
Should have the car Sunday or Monday.
I would appreciate any comments ( other than I'm nuts for doing this)
Thanks

I'd be surprised that you don't get 15-20% off msrp. even on a lease, I'd expect about 10% off msrp, which is usually enough to cover all the taxes and fees.

Not sure you will get more than 10% off given dealer markup 6.25%, loyalty is $3000 or around 2%, maybe some backend financing money on lease. MF was .00118 but it should be lower. Plus your residual will be high for 7500 miles/year.

No loyalty or any other discount. Full MSRP. Take it or leave it. If you want a discount wait 3 - 6 months. I am not waiting. Thanks

There is a $3000 loyalty this month for all 8 series. Make sure to check with your dealer

I'm not sure which is which; however, one of them is basic cruise control, etc. and the other has 3d surrounding views of other cars lane change, etc (more complete level 2 autonomous driving)

I haven't seen the m8 or m8 competition, but my understanding is that it's more geared for track use. so I don't know if Driver pack 1, 2, pro or whatever would even really make a difference when your going to turn all that stuff off to go into sport or track mode.

that's the hard part. I had to search 47 dealerships to get my deal on my m850i convertible. and even then I think it's probably too high and I could have done better if I kept searching.

I had the same issue when I built mine, the dealer added it when we actually placed the order. It is something I definitely wanted especially for the 3D surround view. Good luck

I dont think you will get much off MSRP unless you wait a few months. Nobody discounted them when I ordered mine. Good luck.
