Here's my 2020 M8 Competition Gran Coupe in Frozen Arctic Grey with Taruma Brown interior.

I've done XPEL Stealth PPF for the paintwork and gloss PPF on the carbon bits.

Thanks, guys!

The paintwork looked different in every picture I had found, including BMW's configurator and individual visualizer, so I took a shot when ordering. I have no regrets.

Actually, I took delivery on the showroom floor at the end of last month. The first pics were taken by my CA and their product genius took some "professional" shots on the second floor.

Track day. XDrive dynamic mode was perfect. On corner exit it hooked up easily despite full throttle. 2WD actually hooks up once tires are warm. Just wish it had some stability control in 2WD mode. I'm not just looking for a "drift" mode. It seemed to allow more feel through the steering and felt more nimble in 2WD. Just a bit twitchy without the DSC. Ended up becoming an expensive lawn mower after a long banked turn in 2WD. Monster on the straights. Brakes held up great. I had as much fun as my 991.2 GT3 except I had comfortable ventilated seats 🏎💨

I know I'm biased but that's rather lovely.

Damn it it needs those springs, though.

Did the PPF affect the color appearance in any way? I assume not.

These German tuners are hit or miss and usually miss by a country mile with aesthetics to my taste.

But G-Power actually has a new wheel that looks damn good on this. Has a purposeful look to it that's aggressive and tasteful.

Ah the missing M hood bulge. I assume BMW left that out because it would have added a few extra dollars to the cost. Sad as it looks great and helps visually set the M8 apart from the 8 series.
