Wheels for 840i Gran coupe xDrive

I want new wheels, but TireRack doesn't list my car (2020 840xi GC). I need to stay with 19" because the roads here in CT are awful.

I'm looking for gloss black or mixed black and chrome, and a bit more aggressive. I love the M8 wheel design.

Will wheels designed for the 850xi GC fit my car? Does any have any specific wheel suggestions? Without TireRack I feel like there are just too many different websites to dig through and no way to assess quality.

Here's pics of my stock wheels and I might as well show off my new garage floors.

Nice floor Tony. I went with carpet on mine but here you can get away with that. lol

You should find someone selling wheels on the classified tab, "Members Classified". Seems to be always someone getting rid of stock M8 wheels there.

Will those definitely fit the 840? For some reason I thought they had a different axle to fit wider wheels. Are they available in 19"?

Unfortunately I have only seen 20 inch on the M8 Comp.

20 inch would work on yours but you would probably have to drop down the aspect ratio (side wall height). And this will make for a more stiff ride. -And I know you said 19's because of the bad roads.

Bolt patterns and hub bore are the same. Just double check your offset is the same or real close. I think most stock M8 offset is 28 mm.

I’m in CT too. If you decide to sell your stock wheels, send me an email

The Vossen HF5 is a high quality option that's pretty popular. And you can get them in 19".

Here's a link to them on an 8 series, but they're 20"

840xi GC Wheels

Hello,
I am looking for advice on my 840xi GC with 20inch low pro tires.
Do you recommend upgrading to a bigger size tire or changing the wheels to 19inch?
Thank you

I personally would never install (not even for winter) 19" wheels on ANY 8 series as the car looks weird in my opinion given its body and muscles anything smaller than 20ies does not do it justice. I'd say 20" is the very least these cars should have... 21" for me being the ideal size. In 21" for example one could go for 8,5 x 21'' 245/35 front and 10 x 21" 285/30 ZR21 as the Alpina B8 has for example keeping the same offset as original or very close to it (plus/minus 2 mm on each axle).

These are 19 inch Apex V5RS wheels in only avail brushed metal. Looked like shit on the car, so powder coated them black. Track only with Cup 2s. This with the CCBs. Contact Apex for a spec because they build them. 18 inch, probably impossible.

They don’t fit the car, they look weird, but perfect for the track.

There is a member with a black M8 coupe that has the wheels totally sorted. 21 inch and wider. Perfect muscle car stance.

Roads are bad out here and I've replaced my wheels twice in the first year already.
I just can't take this anymore and have to change the wheels or put ticker tires.
What do you guys recommend? What is the right solution?
