Does anyone know the actual BMW part number for these/where to buy them? I don't want the larger/chrome ones that are on amazon/ebay, but the darker matte ceridium finish that matches what's on the trunk lid. I'm actually considering putting them on the side fender air extractors vs the fender. Think they'll look pretty sharp yet tasteful.

Sauders 17283 I remember you put these on your fenders, were they matte finish and factory BMW parts?

I can get them for you.
BMW offers them in Chrome, Black Chrome, and Cerium Grey.

Thanks, are they small enough to fit in the middle section of the fenders air extractors and is cerium the color they are on the M850's trunk? Mince are a dark matte gray.

I wanted mine in gloss black to match my IND rear emblems so I ended up finding mine on Amazon. In hindsight, I would have preferred to go with the OEM black chrome from Ben had I known!

Personally, I think they would look good there but I'm not sure they would fit. Also, there may not be enough "flat/level" surface for them.

Hi Rj,

Only the M- CERIUM GREY emblem is officially listed (at least as per BMW ETK online cat.). Part number for this is 51148090642. Of course if Ben can get them it's great. I personally like it a lot too and that is why I have not removed them whereas I had all other letterings deleted prior to getting the car.

There would be only 1 cerium grey finish.
And BMW only have 1 size for the fender.

Can you get the 840i trunk badge in shadowline? I removed my chrome, after swapping exhaust tips and grille to shadowline.

No, that have to me aftermarket or painted.
BMW doesn't offer shadowline badge for non M.

EDIT: Do you happen to have the measurements of the 8 euro fender badge?

Thanks for this, yes, they are too big. It will be interesting to see if the ones r33_RGSport can get are smaller...ideal size for the extractor application would be half that size or approx. 1.5" X 0.5"

OEM is 1.5" top length, 1.75" bottom length. Height is 5/8".

Ordered, as they appear to be quite a bit smaller than Saunders. Will take pics once received and then installed. Any tips on getting them level? With some emblems etc factory templates are available to ensure they're placed in the proper position, but since this is a non-factory location I could use some suggestions please.

Based upon images, the location I put mine were not level and they aren't level when BMW puts them there either.

I create a vector based image in Adobe Illustrator and then created like 15-20 reference measurement locations from there. Admittedly I went a little crazy but since they were not level in the pics, I knew I would doubt myself if I didn't go a little crazy trying to get them correct.

The one on the pic I posted from the factory seems spot on to me. Since no one appears to have tried this on the extractors I will temporarily place them on with a small piece of double sided tape and solicit some opinions here. Appreciate your input thus far.

Ben can you get a Shadowline M850i trunk badge? I've been thinking of going badgeless vs the cerium one on the car now but a Shadowline would match the trim nicely.
