Worst riding trucks ever. I remember testing one out back in '95 along with the Discovery. Great for off roading but thats it.

No kidding... They are almost as much now as when they were sold new! I wish they still sold them here though; they are pretty unique.

Because they are no longer sold here in the US - they wouldn't pass newer emissions regs, land rover said f'it

They are all over the place here. There's a matte black one at my office. Rich people buy them to stand out a bit when all of their friends already have Wranglers.

In my opinion they look way better than a wrangler. The Defender is a bit bigger than a wrangler too.

I love D90's in a way I'll never like Jeeps. Redline limited in fifth to 88 mph and a V8 from an old Buick, what's not to love?!

This was due to concerns regarding the instability of the British-built flux capacitors found in the D90.

They are way more than new. I saw one for $50k with 175k on it. Granted NYC but Jesus Christ. I think fully optioned they were sub $40 if memory serves.

If I were gonna go that route it would have to be a 110. White with rust half way up the doors. I'd have a kit in the back to give tetanus shots to passengers.

That's over $54k in today-bucks. That's a huge chunk of change for a spartan vehicle with questionable-at-best reliability.

One of my staff in Munich was looking to sell his 110 over there. We shipped it to CT instead he made a small fortune.

Yeah they only brought 500 here originally. For the imports - once they hit 25 years, they can be brought in fairly easily. If it's less than 25 years old, Customs & Border Protection will have a major problem with it.

Toyota guys say the same things about Jeep and Land Rover guys... why people buy them who knows. Toyotas such as FJs and 4Runners don't break down like Jeeps and Rovers
