It was built for a customer in Cali so the car still has HFC and tuned on 91 Octane. Put down close to 850whp.
Catless and 93 would put it close to 1K. Race gas is a different story

Living in Socal as I do as well he should really look into Torco. It worked for me and many other people I know with ZO6's like mine that are heavily modded and I know some GTR guys that run it with great luck. Our 91 is not like 91 in other states. Maybe it is ultra left wing 91 that hates cars. I saw a major change in our gas since March actually. Had my car tuned when it was stock and it was fine, then when May rolled around all of a sudden it started pinging like crazy. Other people reported the same thing. I guess it is the summer blend. It was Hotter but at night when it cooled down it still pinged like crazy. Put torco in and it was all gone. He can get the 5gal drums like I did and it ends up costing you about 14 bucks per fill up extra which is not a lot for peace of mind and more power. 5gal will treat 20 tanks and net you 95-96 octane mixing 32oz or one bottle to 20gallons of fuel. IF we had a lot more E85 stations I would have gone that way but we don't. It has been hot lately and still I get no ping and I have a lot of timing in the car. My friends supercharged LS3 vette making 674rwhp was running meth injection but after 3 pumps failed I got him to go to torco and the car runs great on it. I say your customer should try it out and see. I bet it works for him and he could get the extra power out of it.
