Connected Car Profile Issue 06/19

Did anyone else encounter car profile issues on yesterday (Friday 6/19) in their 8-series. I kept being greeted with the guest profile all day outside of one time when the car recognized my true profile. However, after that short drive to a restaurant here in San Diego for the drive back I was once again a "guest".

I planned on changing my password (that has been a known issue from the past with certain special characters breaking the connectivity) but today on two drives my profile was properly recognized. Thus, not sure if Connected Drive was having an issue yesterday overall or I may now have a new gremlin I need to track down in the M850i.

No. The only time I experience this issue is if I use my non-registered key - that is you cannot have both keys linked to your profile. So my display shows me as a guest.

Haven't driven in a month, but I haven't seen that problem yet.

Update on my end that outside of the abysmal Connected Drive connectivity and profile recognition on 6/19 the car has been fine from 6/20 to today (knocking on wood). I was prepared to update my password from my lesson learned back in December in which BMW made some sort of software update that broke my password (with a special character of "@" included) so I figured they may have done the same last Friday. In all likelihood they had a "cloud" issue on Friday that effected some users but obviously not all users.
