If you and a friend bought one each, you could be Thunder Buddies.

10 bucks it came from the same designer that thought removing the Hoffmeister kink (along with giving us an awful grille) for the new 4-series was such a swell idea.

I wonder if the board have a rating for designers and designs that they consider say at launch, end of sale and then 10 years later maybe.

I doubt it as $$$ talks to the board really but it would be fascinating to know how success is perceived in any new design. Sales only most likely as the word of a few nuts/fans doesn't cut it on the Stock Market!

In the remake of the classic James Bond film Goldfinger:

Goldfinger (a known lover of gold) pulls up to his lair in his Golden Thunder Edition BMW 8 series. The Golden Thunder Edition’s Icon Adaptive LED Headlights with Laserlight led the way. He wears his matching black and gold suit. He has captured James Bond and is set to demonstrate the capabilities of his second favorite laser. He delivers his classic line, “No Mr. Bond. I expect you to die!”

I'm getting tired of saying my signature line, " Every week I think BMW can't get any shittier and without missing a beat, they prove me wrong every time."

Any official news in regards with the X2?
I was looking for the new X2 with a better interior in the future.

Will they cancel it for sure?

I haven't seen an update since earlier this year, but it looks like cancellation is imminent.

BMW stated last year they were cancelling the 8 Series coupe and convertible. Only the Gran Coupe made the cut.

The last thing I read was from January of this year.

There are also reports of the 8 not selling well, inventory being in "Priority 5" status, etc.

Sounds like we've read the same kinds of things, but i don't believe BMW has issued any written/offcial statement.
