After many trips to the city over the years, I finally made it to the Flatiron District today. Should have come here way before this. The Flatiron Building is fascinating to behold. Such superb architecture. I'd love to see the inside of some of the offices.

Thanks, Ed. This is probably our 5th or 6th trip to NYC and this is the first time I made it to the Flatiron Bldg. And it's not that far from our usual hotel. Took me no time to get here today.

Back to Sonoma - - - found this cute little guy/girl outside my friends house last weekend. There were twins, but I was using the 90mm macro and wasn't able to get a good photo of them together.

North Avenue Beach in Chicago. Looks a bit like Cape Cod.

The Jacobite
I'm over on the West Coast (of Scotland) for a week of walking and climbing, but as today wasn't a day for the mountains, too wet and windy with low cloud over the tops, I did a bit of trainspotting instead !

Thanks Dave and Mark.
No HDR just playing with highlights and shadows because of the poor light and weather. I'm not even too sure about the processing in general as it's done on my travelling laptop rather than my desktop at home. Hope it looks OK ?
