My new M8 Competition

Hey Guys
I bought an M850 back in February but with such amazing deals and my dealership wanting to buy it back due to lack of inventory I pick up this in a week ❤️

Did they just decide to be nice or did you negotiate that?

Congrats! Saw this beauty sitting in Ottawa when I was shopping for an M8 back in summer. Just wondering how much discount did you get in %?

I was able to buy mine at 0.9% via their select program. Did not make sense to lease it at that point.

Congrats!!

Total discounts came to $20k with winter tyres thrown in and 50% cash back on clear shield. I had $15k neg on my 850 so payments in around $2200 5 year select. Crazy is I got better deal at Elites than Ottos that had the car! So they did a dealer trade! I pick it up Saturday.

Hard to work out exactly but dealer option is showing -$20k plus winter tyres and credit for clear shield

I'm confused by this.

What was MSRP on your new M8 GC Comp.? What was the negotiated price on the M8 GC Comp. separate from your M850?

It sounds like they bought you out of your M850 and forgave the remaining payments on the M850. If so how many payments did you have left on your M850?

In the states dealers are adding ADMs on M8s anywhere from $10 - $15k. They act like they're doing you a favor by selling it to you at full sticker and if you're lucky you'll get the BMW $2500 rebate.

Yes they bought me out of the 850. $180,000CAD all in including taxes. Plus winter tyre package thrown in. But I prefer to talk about these amazing cars rather than costs. Everyone’s experience will be different based on multiple factors including country of purchase. 👍

Yes, and I'm happy to discuss the cars but for me and I'm sure many others the economics of these cars making sense is a big determining factor as to whether or not we choose to purchase them.

I was able to secure a 2020 M8 Competition Gran Coupe with 5800 miles $158k sticker for $124k. Based on current market in USA and the inventory I see, that's an amazing deal hence the reason I pulled trigger.

So in CAD that’s $156kCAD for Demo 2020 👍 I’m at $180kCAD ($133kUSD) for 2021 new, so makes me feel like I got even more of a bargain now 🥳 irrelevant we both have amazing cars that have one of the least depreciations at 5 years! Looking at what 2016 M5’s are selling for 😯

What is the window sticker on your car? If your sticker is closer to $155k USD which based on the video I'm assuming it is with the options it has and you got it for $133k USD then yes, you did amazing. You will not find that deal anywhere here in the United States.
