Weird section to post this in... but here are my thoughts. Honestly, the interior is probably the biggest plus on my list.

M5

• More comfortable and adjustable seats, with massaging features available.
• More (and cheaper) modifications available.
• More practicality and easier to get into/out of.
• More visibility.
• Quite a bit cheaper, and much better residuals.

M8

• MUCH nicer interior.
• More exclusive.
• Lower center of gravity/ much more planted at high (130MPH+) speed.
• Multiple body styles available to fit your lifestyle.
• If looking currently, we're much earlier on in the life cycle for the 8, EOP is 2 years later than the 5.
