2021 M850i ECU Tune

Does anybody know of a company that can tune the 2021 M850i model?

I most certainly won't—there's still no credible data.

You could use a piggyback tune from Racechip or Burger Tuning. I imagine the ecu tunes for MY 20s will carry over but I haven't researched that.

Albeit that I'm an absolute neophyte when it comes to ECU tunes vs limeypride but I am a child of software/firmware modifications and empirical data. That said based on empirical data published from many sources a 2021 cannot be ECU tuned due to the Bosch ECUs deployed since June 2020 that are 100% locked. Here's a statement from Manhart on the situation: https://www.manhart-performance.de/e...ked-bosch-ecu/

Ah, not my thing. I stand corrected.

Piggys are almost certainly unaffected.

Agreed, i.e., piggys are most certainly unaffected. I've been tracking the ECU situation as a data point just in case I end up buying out the M850i lease as I'll definitely do a tune at that point. From what I've been able to determine my 2020 does not have the locked Bosch ECU as it was built in 10/19. There has been some data floating around that apparently late 2020 builds (April through May of 2020) may indeed have the locked ECUs. Hence, the mileage may vary for some 2020 owners as to whether they can get a tune or not.
