I am curious , how did you get 56% residual when it was never less then 55% for 10000 miles since Nov. can you negotiate that?!

I always go for max residual and if I have overage, I deal with that before lease end. So far I have always come out ahead doing it this way as the motivation is on the dealer side to make the next deal...

Coupe

Related but unrelated, can someone tell me why the 4 door grand coupe is cheaper than the regular m8 two door? Seems it would cost more for 4 doors, assuming everything else is the same?

Yeah, and 3k might not sound like at lot; but it's almost enough to pay my state's sales registration taxes.

4 door sedans are usually less expensive than 2 door coupes.

I wonder why? I can see this if the coupe's pillarless, maybe lower sales volume=higher price?

They used to be more desirable hence more $ until the 4 door coupe thing started which took a chunk out of true 2 dr coupe sales.

BMW of Des Moines. I was planning to buy in Minneapolis but I only received a matching offer there after my deal was done.

That price is far better than an offer I can get here in the SF Bay Area. Is there a specific person I should reach out to?

159k sticker, 130 sales price. 1649 a month inc 9.25 tax, 7 msd and normal drive offs. 36/10, I had loyalty. Added full maintenance which was included in the price. Did not get buy rate. They dropped price to match buy rate payment.

I am in the Bay Area

Thanks.

I sell my leases somewhere around 12-16 months in so I've avoided MSDs (and obviously large chunks $$ put down). I'm able to get this kind of offer on a Coupe but I can't get there on a GC Comp (yet... I guess). This is a Coupe I assume?

Anyone with something comparable on an M8 GC Comp? I don't care where as long as it's in the States (OK, so I do care where but you get my point) .

This was on a coupe end of the year. I would be surprised that Grand coupe would be discounted this heavily right at launch

Took home a M8C this weekend, Dravit Grey over Silverstone. $158,650 sticker, got them down to $130000 out the door and they gave me $45k for my 2014 M5C! The deals are out there if you shop for them. This was a small dealer between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City that had the car. It's amazing.

Definitely true. In the case of the deal it was 7K per year which ups residual to 58% vs 55% for 10K per year.
