Not my cup of tea with the ACS parts fitted but Sunset Orange looks good!

Finally AC Schnitzer got it right. Just need to lose the front side fins.

Very nice, I actually find myself preferring the way the lines of the front bumper flow on the 8 series compared to the M8.

Wow. That's the first 8-series Gran Coupe that I can genuinely say looks phenomenal. Lovely looking car!

Been saying this from the beginning. The 840i front and rear looks more aggressive than the M8 to me

Nice. But whoever designed the ass end needs to hit the enemployment line along with the 7 series designer from the mid 2000s

Agree about the front, the M8 front bumper is the first M-car front bumper I think looks worse than the regular model with M-Sport.

But the rear bumper of the M8 looks way better IMO, that's actually the only part that makes the M8 just a bit more appealing from the exterior.

The only problem with this car is that it is 840. M850 is a must here. Otherwise what a beauty

Rims should have and must have been in satin black if look for perfection especially given that exterior color IMO and i m a designer.

Cheers!

No doubt as it is basically looks to be the same package (with a less aggressive front splitter) as their M850i package. First time I looked at the M850i package I was dumbfounded by the ridiculous front side fins.

Understand the sentiment as I chose a M850i over an 840i (was never even a consideration as I wanted a V8 and better performance). That said though the 840i definitely has its place and is a great car for those that choose it.

In fact as the 2020 model year closes out my bet is more 840i models (all variants) than the M850i/M8/M8C (all variants).
There is a larger perspective buyer market for those looking for a great looking car with the luxury amenities of the 8 series whom could care less for the performance aspects of the M850i/M8/M8C. If anything that set of buyers can hopefully keep the 8 series alive for some time to come.

Your assessment is spot on. Canards on anything other than a dedicated track car looks utterly ridiculous.
