I'm a white car guy myself. I've flirted with other colors, but I lack a garage, and white just makes it easier to maintain without. I'm fairly handy with a random orbital, but I don't feel like I need to jump on swirls right away, I could easily see and correct sap or other foreign substances on the car, and it's not horrible after driving in the rain for a bit.

I do prefer Mineral White Metallic over the Alpine White, though. The paint is just noticeably thicker and stands up to rock chips better. Granted, both of my current cars are Alpine as I would never get MWM through the individual paint program myself.

There you go Bro. Bought the M3 about two months after the M8 GC.

I hardly ever miss driving the M8 except the pops and bangs from agreesive downshifts since I picked up the M3. The stick shift is hard to beat
