Build quality change over MY
Curious if anyone here has noticed a change in build quality relative to production years?
My personal comparison is not exactly 1:1 as I am comparing a 2020 m8 coupe to a 2024 m8 gc The things I'm noticing: 2024 - center console trim piece plastic has warped shaped from factory, rear 3rd break light housing hanging loose, window motor noise a bit louder, I can hear the engine more (like a belt spinning sound), few more creaks (possibly d/t body difference). Although these issues are minor, the new m8 just seems less solid to me Improvements over the years: windows go up at the same pace now, steering wheel doesnt readjust preset height to incorrect position, traffic jam assist/adaptive cruise control seems better, and AC doesnt blow heat :P |

I can’t really speak to later MY M8, although I did test drive a 22 last year and it seemed very solid.
If my 2023 8C was any more solid in every way, I would swear it was carved out of a solid piece of granite only A LOT more comfortable! And everything in it functions flawlessly!!
