Coming from an AMG with adaptive LEDs, I'm finding it hard to see as far in front of me driving the M8 at night. It's as if the headlights need to project higher to see more road ahead. Is this normal? Thanks.

hmmmmm I have no issues with mine and I have the digital matrix on my GTS, the lasers on my R8, the Plaid has actually really good ones too... The M3 is similar to the M8 (no visible issues)

Maybe its the alignment on yours?

Is there a chance the alignment could be off on a newish car with ~500 miles? I read something about the full laser light capabilities being reduced in the US, so wondering if that could be the root cause?

Im not sure but Ive had to adjust a few BMW cars in the past (new)... the vertical (not horizontal) was flat on the ground.

Its an easy fix and the adjustment can be done easily by the owner too. I know the anti dazzle was reduced or pulled (others may know better) but that should not affect the low beam coverage. I do remember you getting the car slightly used- was there any work done to it that may not have been disclosed?

No work done to my knowledge. It's mainly the height so hopefully I can figure out how to raise. Would also like to know more the benefits to removing the limitations coded for US.

I am not able to take pictures right now but if you open the hood and locate each headlight--- behind them in the black circle inlets are the white indented adjusters (you will see). I think counter clockwise raises but just mark your tool before you turn. Have the car sit flat and mark the oem light lines on a wall so you have a point of reference.

Im sure youtube has something too.

r33_RGSport Ben can help you for sure

Edit- you had your Stealth'd- did they remove the bumper and lights? Maybe thats the issue with the reinstall.
