93 Octane - how do I do this?

Hey - I’ve never used anything but 91, and really want to try something else. I have MSR intake, M perf exhaust, Carbahn Tune and Downpipes, can I use 93? Do I just buy a gallon or 2 and mix it with my 91? How does it work ?

I use Sunoco's 93 up here in Canada. I've been using it for 50 years basically in various vehicles. I love it....just not the price
It's only available at Petro Canada.

I usually mix half a tank of 91 with half 100 octane. It seems to work for me. I’ve got an 850 and no tune or anything and I’ve never had a problem.

You don’t need to mix 93 octane with 91. You can run 100% 93 octane no problem. In my state, they only sell 93 octane for premium. You cannot buy 91. No change is needed for the cars.

Looks like your also here in the Phoenix area. Where are you getting the 100 octane?

Or might be closer to you the Thumb gas station.

On my gas door it says to use 93 but sadly we don't have it in AZ... So you are good to fill up.

Yep as unless some specific boutique filling station we just get 91. In now 4 years of ownership not a single knock or ping and as you all know I DILYSI since the 1200 mile break-in period (was conscious on the RPMs, speed limit called out and never even used ACC as one wants variable speeds to seat the valves, etc ). Still all lawyer talk in the break-in period but I suspected I had a keeper so followed the rules. 👍
