New Wheels Inbound

Finally took some pics of the new wheels. Amazing how hard it is to go out and do small task these days

Wheels have matte gunmetal
Face and brushed bronze lips. Thought the bronze would work with the Dravit gray gold metallic flakes and it did

No big question is lower or not. Some angles I really don’t need too

Couldn’t help myself again. Ordered the set late April and they are already completed and should be in my possessions tomorrow

Going to ceramic coat them before mounting so no on car pics for a little.

Wheels are BC Forged 21x10 21X11 two piece forged modular

Like how they came out

Beautiful, dude.

Can you post some head on pics showing the face of the wheel, please.

What tire size are you going for?

Awesome, they look good. Can't wait to see them on the car. Let me know how BC Forged is. They have some nice looking wheels but I've read mixed reviews on them with regard to quality/strength issues. Roads here in Hawaii suck so need something that won't crack or dent on one hit. I had Advan's on my last M3 and those were top notch quality and strength.

I haven’t heard any bad reviews so far. Actually ran a set on my m4 and couldn’t be happier

Usually the biggest knock is they are made overseas in Taiwan. I have no issues with that. Interesting enough wheel manufacture oversea are held to a much more stringent testing and have to receive Jwl and via certs. Wheels companies in US Don’t even need DOT certs

From what I heard BC forged actually is one of two wheel companies that forged their own barrels and faces in house. This is one of the reason why they are so much better priced

Signature, Z forged and some other brands all use BC forged facilities to make their wheels

BC rocks, great wheel for the price and construction too. I like the 21 inch set up with the step lip and exposed hardware.

Vic I have seen your history of cars and wheels for many years. Actually bought one of your sets off your w212 wagon. I remember you were always HRE. HRE makes a great product and I have ran a couple sets in the past. Haven’t seen a set of HRE’s on one of your rides for several years

As time has gone on my desire to mod my cars has remained but going with the most expensive wheels / brand has gone away. Quality/ safety/ price is most important now and I feel there are many wheel companies that can offer that.

What!!!! Who did you buy them from? Yes Ive had 16 sets of HRE's but this was when I felt OEM wheels just didnt look good or were built well. Id have to say my affinity for OEM wheels has adjusted over the years and marry that in with my constant selling of cars in the short term; spending 8-10k on a set of brilliant HRE wheels has not been in the cards.

I did a few sets in the past few years on my Turbo S, R8, AMG GTS, but nothing my M5, Porsche GTS, or my E63S. I was using Klassen cause his forgings are done at the same place where HRE's are done. Of course HRE is defined by its fit and finish and unique weight savings but with 600 hp on these cars I was fine. I think now Im just done with aftermarket wheels but applaud your choices.

My wagon with your wheels LOL:

I actually bought them from you but my buddy in OC ended up picking them up at your house and drove them up for me.

275/30/21 295/30/21 PS4. Was considering a 285 in the front but run into issues. Went with a 5mm more aggressive offset than most

I have 285s front with 15mm spacers. It rubbed I initially. It doesn't anymore, instead I just have a shiny bit on the inner side of the wheel arch.

Going to play it safe for the first set and run the 275. Debating on lowering until there are more options but from the looks of things it might be a couple more months

Car looks great! Good stance too. 21” wheels are the sweet spot IMO

Lost a little bit of weight also. About 1.5 lbs each compared the stocks. Could of gone lighter with a one piece

I order direct from BC. Email them and tell them Evan referred you. You most likely will talk to Jonathan

Wheels arrived at my house in 4 weeks. They are shipped from Asia
