Adding Subwoofer

Anyone done this on a 23 M8 Coupe? Any major differences between 23 and previous years? Looking at getting this harness to add a sub to my B&W audio system:

Thoughts? Experiences?

Guess your looking at the attached harness which will allow for either an aftermarket amp to power the under seat subwoofers and/or a sub cabinet mounted elsewhere, i.e., the trunk. It technically isn't tapping into the OABR network but more so just the existing RAM booster. Here's a thread with a successful outcome using the same product.

That said it boggles my mind still to this day (can't speak for the X5 aspect) on the lack of bass in an 8-series coupe with B&W. Case-in-point is I actually had to roll off the bass trim (EQ is dialed in and never touch that) even on a SiriusXM source today. Just throwing it out there as if you want a LFE experience from a subwoofer standpoint you're driving (pun intended) in the entirely wrong direction.

Do you know if the rear battery is able to be tapped for amp power or would you just tap the normal front battery? Thought the rear battery was powering the audio system already based on some other threads I've seen.

Did it on customer's F90 M5.
External woofer in the trunk with AudioControl Hi2Lo, he loved it.
Power tapped directly to the battery in the trunk.

I thought the trunk battery was the main battery? In an M8 anyway?

Did you use a harness to tap into the stereo system or ?

I'm hoping to install today if the packages show up like they should.

Used TechnicPnP harness to tap for signal.
