All Teslas showing delays of 7+ weeks

Just looked on the Tesla site and it seems all custom orders are over 7 weeks out and no new inventory. What's the deal did they stop production on all vehicles?

Maybe they're selling them as fast as they make them?

Spent the day running errands around Denver today-- I literally saw at least 20-24 Tesla's-- S, 3, X's.

They were everywhere!

Don't know the track record for these guys but according to them CARB certification usually happens not long before start of production.

It might be because of the year end expiration of the federal tax credit that pushed back deliveries. I'm assuming if you paid for the car already you qualify. The model Y still says deliveries are happening next year so 2021. It is supposed to sell more then S, X and 3 combined.

I just looked at TSLA stock and damn... had I not sold it back in 2018 i'd be a set of HRE wheels richer. They are definitely popular cars. But there are some shady things going on in that company and their cash flow... especially with everyone (146,000 people) giving Elon a $100 interest free loan on a concept car.

Lets not forget in 2017 they said the Tesla Roadster would be out in 2020 and shatter all gasoline powered records. And also have a 'space x option' for air thrusters to improve cornering.

I brought a bunch of Apple stock years ago and held on to it. I'm $20k richer than I was at the end of 2019, so about two weeks ago. Tesla is a good investment as well if you can hold on to it a couple years but it's too volatile for me.

It might have something to do with the new year. We ordered one a couple years ago, I checked inventory in November and there were a good amount of them so I wasn't worried. Came back in January to order thinking inventory would still be there, and I was wrong, no more inventory and we ended up not getting the car until March.

There are plenty of used model S's to choose from for way less than new. No model 3's though. Some of the S or X cars may have unlimited supercharging like the new ones do.

This seems to happen every quarter...the first 1/1.5 months are earmarked for overseas builds, then the US.
