lol... I bet you didn't realize that the E46 sedan has the same type of flares? I remember when one pulled up against my 330 and I thought it was a regular Merc. I took a good jump from the start, but then it rocketed off leaving me way behind! Bastard...

The front is puposely widened for better handling. The whole front of the car has been redesigned and reengineered, for the first time in AMG production car history. It shares minimal components with the lesser C's. All the other AMGs to date have been the regular car with a ridiculously powerful engine and not much else. This one though is going down the path of the M's... wasn't there a post on BMW and Benz partnering up in the future???
