I am seeing cues of an Audi A6 interior The COMAND controller is looking more and more MMI-esque. And the placement/housing of the navi screen looks decidedly Audi A6/Q7-ish or even E70 X5-ish.

Otherwise it looks to be better built than the W211's interior. With the controller, is there a need for all those dash buttons?

Column shifters should stay on mini vans, where they belong.

I actually like how the center console of a 7 series has no shifter. Looks cleaner. But yeah, Real column shifters( not electronic ones) should remain in trucks/vans.

I have to say, MB keys are the sexiest ones (Aside from the Emotional control unit).
