I have a M3 and I am switching to a 440i xDrive Gran Coupe partly because I am looking for a more balanced vehicle as far as comfort/power is concerned. Anyway, congrats! Enjoy it in good health.
The thing with the 3 series was that it got boring real quick, like ok it's a bimmer but it's four doors like any other. It lacked exoticness and that's what I was after tbh. Nothing against the 335 but I just couldn't see myself getting another Sedan with similar interior, it's all theatre with the Jag. Very playful...

That dark green is the best color for the F-Type in my opinion.

Yeah I looked at the Vett but couldn't get over the Chevy interior. I do like the exterior however...

Great looking car. Can it be had without the "infotainment" and navigation?

I went to a launch event for the F Type Coupe a few years ago, in the wine country of the Amador foothills outside Sacramento. The car was gorgeous to look at and a gas to drive.

The sales manager laughed out loud when I said, "Man, those are some bodacious Tatas!" (Hard to imagine that the company that owns Jaguar produces trucks you see throughout India with "Horn, Please!" painted on their tailgates.)

Unfortunately, there's only one dealership in my sleepy little college town that sells BMW, MB and Volvo. There are also Ford, Chevy, Mopar, Totota, etc.

Without local service, I just can't bring myself to consider Jaguar, Porsche, Audi, Lexis, Acura, Alfa, Maserati...

Yes local dealership is essential when you own a Jag as I'm not confident in its reliability as of yet but so far so good. I was reading a bit about TATA the other day and was pleasently surprised how big TATA was. Jaguar and RR are only a small part of TATA. It's biggest business is consultancy and IT. Thank god TATA came along and saved jaguar after Ford nearly bankrupted it in the 80s.

It's not the fastest but still exhilarating. And it does sound incredible. Really sounds more like a V8 and that wail when you get on it, OMG. Very beautiful car. I nearly bought a CPO one but felt I needed a back seat. I kept trying to tell myself I didn't lol.

I know what you mean, it definitely can't be a first car as it's not practical at all if you need room for stuff. It is however a very good second or third car if you want to cruise or nice Sunday drive..

Thank you, yes it looks much bigger and wider than the F30 being all aluminum body and all but it doesn't drive like it's so heavy. And the looks and that sound

And built real British cars, instead of abominations like the X-Type, which was basically a re-badged Ford Contour (or Mondeo in Europe) with all wheel drive.

The Contour wasn't a bad car -- in fact, I had one in the late 'nineties and it was a comfortable, great handling car that was kind of a sleeper -- but there was no way a few different parts would make it a British car.

F-type coupe

Ali,
Congratulations on such a beautiful car...!! Definitely one of the BEST looking coupes on the road. Congrats on switching to something different!! I agree with you, this generation of F-gen 3 series and 4 series was a big disappointment.
Beautiful car!!

Jag makes BMW look like Toyota in terms of reliability....but I really love the looks of their cars

What sort of warranty did they give you and what are they going to give you when its in the shop for work?

Thank you and appreciate it. I struggled to leave the brand for the Jag but at the end of the day the choice was to go with the same old interior design or dare to go to something more special. Not regretting it at all
