Hi,

I have an issue with my f31 335dx 2016. The sound at idle measured with iphone 7 decibelX app is around 84dB (cold) or 82 dB (hot). I made this measurement due to the annoying sound I hear while idling - it's not a vibration from the engine, just a low frequency sound.

I don't know anybody with an f31 335dx and the mechanics say there is nothing wrong with the car (under warranty). I could do a check in a 435dx and the sound at idle was about 62 dB which seems reasonable low.

Can someone with an f31 335dx help me with the level of sound when idling ?
A f31 330d should be good as well as the engine should behave similar at idle speed.
