1000 hp Gallardo crash @ texas mile run

This is the footage I took prior to the crash. Those Gallardos were insane! I almost got footage of the crash but was distracted at the exact moment of the crash. BTW the Ford GTs and Supras were just as fast, also.

WOW, I can't believe that. I feel like if you pulled that chute the car will just be at the mercy of it, meaning it drag it in a straight line. It's almost like he tried to turn once the chute was pulled. It seems that if you pulled the chute it wouldn't cause it to pull in a certain direction but straight back. Look at top fuelers, that doesn't happen when they pull the chute.

That is why chute placement is critical. Positioned a fraction of an inch left or right, or up too high and you see the results.

Unreal. He is very blessed to have made it, and I doubt he is completely fine from that kind of impact. I hope I'm wrong, but highly unlikely.
