The $100,000 GT2 RS Tire Change

Be careful who you get to change your tires if you own a Porsche with center-lug wheels. Yikes!

No, it was legit $100k in damages according to Porsche. Wheels/rotors all had to be replaced because all wheels were torqued to (way) improper specs. Center locks strike again!

Tire guy didn't retorque wheel to proper specification for one pcs nut(50 instead od 500), wheels got loose and made damage, as he said even one wheel fell off.
Lesson of the story, can't trust tire shops with exotic cars.

Wheels weren't the problem though.

Another 8-minute video that could have been easily summarized. Clickbait.

superspeeder’s videos are actually informative. At least to me more information for people considering sports cars then just about any other YouTube poster.

Overall though I’ve pretty much stopped watching YouTube except for the videos posted on this forum.

Wheels were part of the problem. The rotors are 8k each the wheels are just as much and all had to be replaced according to the dealer who didn’t want to risk them being compromised due to the poor installation.

Yes. However the comment I replied to stated the 100k was wheels. It was not just wheels. I've never seen a $50k wheel. I have however seen $10k+ carbon ceramic brake rotors.

I like Rob and his videos. They are informative from a different perspective than most. He's owned a ton of exotic cars and has some very good insights as they are actually used and used pretty hard.

I pick and chose what I watch on Youtube. Most of it is garbage for sure, but the few that I do watch are pretty entertaining. Vinwiki being one along with Superspeeders.

I'm also following his channel, he shares sometimes useful info, i didn't know that loose nuts can make 100t$ worth of damage.

I know what your saying but he’s not phony or scripted. And I like how he adds the business aspect.
