Oh man what a blue, i like it!!
The photos instantly brought tanzanite blue to mind but without the purple hue. This is like a true deep blue color - fantastic choice.

In the pictures, it looks a lot like Mediterranean Blue which I had on my 535i.

Beautiful ride and (while I had not seen or heard of this color yet) it confirms BMWs "blues" are amazing and definitely fit awesome with this type of car.

Absolutely stunning and enjoy the drive! On a side note can you do me a favor (and a few others on the forum as well) and check what color is rendered in the BMW My Garage portal as well as via the remote 3D view? We're trying to figure out if BMW supports Individual colors or not for the Connected App.

It is rendered as white on the website in my garage. In the app on my phone, it has a car cover on it. In the 3d view in the app, it is a white or very light silver. I'm not sure if that is the case for all individual colors, but it is for Centennial Blue.

Thank you and much appreciated on the info. This is another confirmation that "true" Individual colors are not rendered in the "My Garage" which one would assume is the source for the 3D view along with the overall Connected Drive profile for the car (at least they provide a car cover on it ). The background is with my 2020 M850i in Individual Tanzanite Blue (albeit a serial color) the garage and Connected profile always rendered the color but the 3D view had the same similar silver in your pics. However, with my recent upgrade to 07/2020.70 the 3D view is also now rendering the Tanzanite Blue.

The sad fact is that the Individual Visualizer can render the car appropriately but they haven't tied that to the rest of their digital world. Granted this may sound like nit picking but I live in the digital world for my job and it boggles my mind that BMW cannot pull off what should in essence be a trivial task.

I had a Tanzanite m3 and it did render as Tanzanite on the web and in the app. It didn't have 3d, so I don't know what would have appeared there. I think the "standard" individual colors probably render while the custom order ones do not.

Also, the web individualizer did show blue for my car, but it was a generic blue that was not very close to the actual color.

Edit: I just remembered that my color was not one that was available on the individualizer. It might be that the ones on the individualizer are treated differently than the ones like mine that are not on the individualizer.

Yes, just checked the M8GC and a few other varients and nothing shows Centennial Blue. Interestingly a Google search turns up the color was exclusive (at the time) for the 2016 7 Series centennial edition. https://www.motor1.com/news/62256/bm...h-a-sweet-pen/

Yes, that 7 series is how I picked the color.

This is the 3d view on my phone and the connected app image.

Update: the app now shows my individual centennial blue. The website and screen in the car still don't.
