My current M8C GC was $162,950 MSRP. If I build it today, it's $149,950 so while the price drop isn't quite $20K, it is, nonetheless, substantial.

I believe you're correct on the 'discontinued --> oh, no, our bad--ta daaaa!'

But your car still starts at 130k now right? Did you add 20k in options? I hope the M8 is still around in 3-4 years and BMW doesn't decide to delete it, or coupes all together, again.

Just to compare with the other side of the world. This for a m850i coupe.

Bought July 2019 for $298,000. Today's price $310,444 with no cool extras like frozen paint or individual colours.

Supply constraints are so severe here at the moment - there is no discounting for premium cars.

I thought maybe there was some huge exchange rate difference, but even in USD that's $240,000!!!

I don't see any MY 2022 rates. On the first page it just says MY2020. Are they 2022 rates the same?

Hi everyone. This might be a stupid question, but does BMW offer any discounts for recent graduates that would apply to an 8 coupe? I just finished law school and got a pretty good job, and would like to save up for it as my dream car. But I know graduate discounts usually have some sort of time limit for eligibility. Any info would be appreciated!

According to BMW of FW, it does appear that there's currently a 1k incentive on 22s, and here are the requirements as of now, btw:

"Eligibility Requirements:
• You have earned an undergraduate, graduate or associate's degree from a U.S. accredited college or university within the previous 24 months OR you are eligible to graduate within the next 6 months and have a verifiable offer of employment.
• You have at least 6 months of credit history with no major derogatory entries.
• You have a debt-to-income ratio of 20% or less.
• You can provide a copy of your diploma or your official transcript.
• Security deposit will be waived unless stipulated by credit.
• This offer is subject to credit review and approval through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC."

Seems like we don't talk used car quotes here. but here is my recent data point for used CPO 2019 M850i (with carbon roof) with 6500miles on it. Ended up paying $82k for it, not sure if its a good deal or not.

Do you want me to get you in contact with a dealer that I know has an allocation available?

Haven't seen anything or heard anything from SA. Incentives are scarce nowadays. Pretty much just loyalty credit I think is $1k of $1500.

For a reference point I paid cost - loyalty M850.

Stumbled across this thread in another forum. Seen some incentives for this one dealership, not sure if its a bait and switch. Perhaps you can do a search for a vehicle and see if the dealership you find the car at have something to offer.
