This is all I see for loyalty deals on multiple sites. Do they list the 8 somewhere or is there no loyalty discount?

Funny I've never actually seen this but I've also never had trouble with a 1500$ loyalty discount on all my buys. Which most are not listed here. lol

It seems by that scale that the 8's should be in the $2000 category.

Yeah --- M8 in June 2019 had 3000 loyalty but that was June back then and cars were sitting.

Maybe its the same?

On my 2018 M5 I got loyalty and lease loyalty combo... all kinds of things come and go of course.

Well, knowing my dealer I'd certainly need something written by BMW for them to give me the amount.

The same one that you bought 6 cars from in 15 years?

Its not like they can pocket the rebate themselves.... its a disclosed rebate on contract to the end user.

If they just didnt give it to you, that would be just as stupid.

None. I didn't try to haggle since they had to hunt for the allocation and traded 2 sought after Ms for the 1. Think it was around like $154kish with everything I added.

Is it normal to not get dealer discounts in the US? Or is that a result of the current chip/manufacturing shortages? Heard about ordered cars being "snatched" from under your nose just before delivery even though contract is signed.

As a comparison, I've never heard about a loyalty program here. But regardless of brand I've always gotten 5%-10% off MSRP from the dealer.

E.g. when I ordered my F32 after some discussion I got 7% off MSRP (~4.9k USD) and after further discussion the dealer included a complete set of winter wheels (~2.5k), M winter down jacket, extra set of mats and quite a lot of stuff that needed to be installed in the car. And that was for a normal 3-month production time.

Given that car's price compared to the 8 I'm surprised if a few k is all you can get on the MSRP.

Used, I guess is a different story. My M850 had 590 miles on it when I got it, it had never left the dealers and was 37% off new MSRP. I guess that's more normal, but I sure don't mind 590 miles to save 63.3k Got the dealer to throw in 2 years additional warranty, better price on winter wheels etc.

Maybe the negotiating climate is totally different here.

When I negotiated mine back in late July, it was CAD$4000, which is around $3k USD.

Any chance there is a program # for that rebate or something? I'm sure my dealer will be aware of it but he didn't mention anything when I ordered an M850C a month ago. He may when the car comes in from the factory in the next few weeks as he went over all the incentives available last year when I picked up an X5. Still I like being prepared. Thanks

I am not sure nor am I sure about the M850C as my post was only about the M8.

Ill see what I can find but rebates fluctuate- call your CA or Sales Manager and they can easily pull up the program book online.
