Thought I had already started a thread on this but apparently I just read a lot.

Heard from my SA end of August had an allocation. Got a week 35 build. That has been pushed back 3x. Now week 40, and hoping production will actually happen and take delivery before end of year. Not looking too good since average wait times across models is 3-4 months. Anyway, here's the build:

MY22 M850 Gran Coupe Dravit/Tartufo
728 rims bi-color
Aluminum Dark Trace
Black Calipers
Driver Assistance Package
Alcantara Headliner
Glass Controls
Extended Shadowline
B&W option taken away (honestly won't miss it)

Already thinking of mods:
Tint
21" wheels unsure which
front lip
Wrapping the rear diffuser to gloss black (dislike the grey)
Possible side skirts (haven't found any I like yet)
Might switch up the spoiler
Blackout trunk emblem or debadge (ikik)

This will be my DD. Coming from a '19 540i.

Got an update, started production yesterday. SA seems to think I'll have it mid December. Really hard to not get ahead of myself and start ordering stuff for mods lol, never know what could go wrong with delivery.

This is exactly my issue right now I have a list of things I NEED to purchase for the car but keep telling myself to not be dumb and order....

We ordered my wife's M850i in late June and it arrived at Port Hueneme on August 30th. The car is currently at the VDC in Oxnard and we were told its waiting for a sensor which with the current chip shortage could mean lots of things. Patience is hard to come by.

Yes!!! Especially as I'm inquiring for different things a lot of back orders going on which makes me want to order now so at least have a chance of being here for delivery.

Finally seeing some movement. Currently in the paint booth after sitting for a couple weeks at status 150. BMWNA claiming end of production is est. for 10/6 but don't see that happening. Still have fingers crossed for end of year delivery to the West Coast. With shortages who knows.

BlessedBimmer I'm sweating this with you. Know the feeling of wanting that new car! Hope the shipping supply chain side of things is holding up. It's diabolical out this way.

Exciting watching the progress through the factory, then the port and you can follow the ship on the way here. Ours went smooth until it got to Oxnard VDC and now its been 5 long weeks. We're waiting for a RAM for the radio. Our salesman told us a couple of days ago that parts are coming in and we should have our car in one to three weeks. We'll see and good luck with yours.

Good luck to yours as well! Yeah have heard conflicting things about the RAM from the other communities. Unsure if it's across the board or only affecting those with B&W.

In the span of 24 hours went from production begins to dispatched from factory. The port is the real nail biter as that's where people seem to get caught up. Staying optimistic.

Congrats on your 850. Hope it comes fast. As a perspective I ordered my m8 sep. 1 and it hit quality check stage this morning. I think it will arrive before thanksgiving. At least I’m hopeful it will…

Very nice!! My order on the 6th hasn't entered production yet, they said it's because of the individual order I did. I guess adding 10 weeks for picking paint and some carbon bits isn't too far off. lol

Production was a beast. got pushed back a few weeks but once it started was completed in a few days. Currently back in transit making its way stateside. Has the stop sale for RAM thought so who knows how long it'll sit at VPC. Good luck to you.

Yes! Garnet Leader. Seems to be on track thank goodness. By the time it lands have approx 6 weeks until would have to run credit again and possibly locked out of deal I made. Not worried about the credit part, just don't want to lose the deal. My SA is pretty awesome but you never know, deals aren't what they use to be.

That would be amazing if the delay is less than 2 weeks. Unfortunately, left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing when it comes to BMWNA and SAs. Like throwing darts and seeing what answers to through at us to tide us over.

From what I’ve seen the RAM aka audio module recall is across the board regardless of H&K or B&W. That said yes, a confirmed sold build goes to the front of the line including stop sales, shipping and VPC.
