Sorry for those that do not understand German. I figured I'd post anyway because Tim Schrick is a hell of a driver and very thorough and insightful in his reviews about how cars drive and behave on track.

Nice aggressive driving! Unfortunately, I can't understand most of it but it looks really interesting on how the cars drive

It only selects German. On the Iphone anyways. There is no other option.

Nice. Tim Schrick is a well respected enthusiast in Germany with really good driving skills. He understands very well how to describe the driving characteristics of a car (he doesn't care that much about all the modern luxury features).

Wish I understood anything he said. Tried to adjust subtitles as Vic55 said it's a mess and doesn't work.

Looks fun tho!!

I like German cars but I dont understand a lick of the language--- maybe a few nasty words.

Whats his final take on all three? My guess is he liked the GT63S for the track but maybe finds the GC more civil for the real world.

He liked the M8 the most. It gave him the most natural feeling, has the best steering, has a better weight distribution than the Audi and it is very controllable in the curves and when accelerating out of the curves for its weight and size (but he didn't quite like the RWD mode, prefered the AWD sport mode).

Out of everything he says during his verdict - full of praise for the M8, the best way he summarizes it in one sentence is when he literally says:

"The M8 is the most complete car when it comes to having fun on the track".

And the long version at that LOL

The GC is freaking 201 inches (close) while the GT63S is near at 199 and the RS7 at 197.

Nice video. Tried watching with captions but was too many errors to really catch what he was saying.

That Audi really is beautiful, but seriously, please put the engine back a little further and put it on a proper RWD platform (MSB). This is probably one of, if not the biggest, reason I haven't ever cared too much for an Audi RS car.

I really enjoyed my two RS7's but to add to your comments on the engine placement; the car just drove so top/front heavy the understeer was nuts. My 17 steering feel and connection did improve over my 14 but it still left something to be desired.

But boy they were lookers (My 2017 Performance Version)

Agree, when it comes to sportbacks, Audi really nails the looks, and the practicality of them is really good, compared to its competitors. My friend had the older A7 when they first came out and he would haul all his home depot stuff with it, could fit a lot of junk in the trunk.

And to think the GC is even bigger. I had some trepidation with the thought until I drove it and learned the chassis/damper set up. Its quite a fun large long car to toss around (within reason of course). The X drive is arguably the best AWD system out there right now although Im thoroughly impressed with the 2020 R8 refresh that I got. Audi got it right with that car but my RS7's had fixed torque splits and that dreaded torque steer made my teeth chip.

The R8 is really a RWD with a Haldex connected front axle. The RS7 as well as all the other front-longitudinally placed engines have a "fixed split" torsen mid differential, in true Quattro form. BMW's X-Drive is indeed better at keeping the RWD feel.

His conclusions are that the BMW has the most natural handling on the track. It doesn’t understeer as much and you can make the rear nicely follow the line by careful braking/throttle (in 4wd sport, he didn’t like the way the 2wd mode handled that track). He says Merc cannot do this in the same way and Audi can do it a bit better but is too front heavy. BMW for the win.

Have to watch it again but the impression on my first time around was that the Audi came in last.
