When I drive, and in reality its not much- its my simple go to machine: comfort, speed, luxury, and quite a lot of performance for a car thats truly GT in nature. I find it to be just the easier go to machine for quick errands, bank, shopping, etc.

The M8 GC has really been a nice addition and I have to admit, a bit of a small surprise (I know the engine well). The CE package with the dampers matched up with my aftermarket KW's have made the drive and handling actually more enduring and compliant than the OEM springs. I think as much as I like the resonator delete process I want even more noise (I blame the R8) so I think Ill do the secondary downpipes (catless) with r33_RGSport

Edit: I was slightly apprehensive getting a black car again but the ceramic coating does crazy wonders. The above pic was taken after maybe 100 miles of driving so while not a lot its still was over 2 plus weeks since I had it washed.

What do you think? any advise? Should I go for it?

The ZF8 in our M's is excellent. Its clearly proven with track and draggy times. The shifts are very quick from paddly pull to change. I have no regrets and only DCT fanboys will chime in that it sucks Its still a true automatic with tq converter but I dont care. I have had quite a few ZF's and they all have varied based on software of the builder. My 2014 Jag F type R was an example of bad TCU software mated with the hardware while the F90 and F93 are the best of the lot. Of course hardware has improved over the years.

These cars are ripping sub 11 sec quarter miles and mid to high 2 second 60mph romps. The tranny does the job.

Yes I drove the car and I had the same feeling but I drove it in comfort mode not sport or sport+ and didn't have chance to hurt it on freeway . It was crazy Saturday in San Francisco.
ZF was very smooth tranny but fast as you said.

Ok so after seeing Subzero do a makeshift mod with the Maxton Design M850i front lip- I did the same.

Thanks to nynd for referring who made the lip. Its super cheap and ABS plastic (209 dollars) so with Ben's help (he wont do it again he said LOL) r33_RGSport it was mounted.

The piece needed to be cut and if you are an picky bastard you could get on your knees and see the gaps in fitment (duh the M850i has a different front end than our M8's). But for the price and knowing Im lowered, Ill lose no sleep if it gets scratched, cracked, or just falls off LOL.

I think it works well because my car is glossy--- I would not do this on a contrasting color as you can see gaps if you dig deep and get to eye level (very hard).

I think Ben said he needs to mount more of these to stay in business LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Yes sir--- I usually dont buy front lips but when I do- they dont fit perfectly

Actually after further "regular eye" tests, its really really hard to see where the gaps are. I know where they are because I saw it on the rack at eye level until Ben kicked me out because I didnt have a mask on.
