Negative Nanny I detect some jealousy here. I just purchased a new M850i convertible and it is much nicer than a 3er as you put it. And the 3er does not have a twin turbo V8 last time I checked. There isn't much competition in the convertible high horsepower "similar cost" category that I would consider "over it" at present. The technology in the M850i is second to none.
