When is the M8 being released?

I want to test drive it. Any ideas when BMW dealerships will get them in stock? Also any idea on lease prices?

US market availability is September 2019, ROW is November 2019. Figure residuals will be the same as the M5 and M5 comp except for the incentives at market launch.

On a side note, I test drove the M850 vert last week and was NOT impressed with the body roll, especially with hard braking from 100mph that the front felt unstable. Hopefully the M8 vert is firmer.

Body roll or twist ? I have never driven a vert that comes close to handling like the fixed roof, I guess that’s the compromise of letting all that sunshine in.......

Don't feel the same unstable the nose dive when braking at 100+ mph in my current F83. Maybe it's the weight difference between the F91 and F83, as the F91 is significantly heavier.

Not sure about US markets but over here it's set for an October production and November/December delivery.

I have yet to drive any 8series. I'll be test driving all models and I'll check for it. I hope the GC doesn't have this too much.

I'm guessing the first ones will be already sold when they hit the dealers. Or, dealers aren't going to want them going out on test drives.

For leases, I'm guessing in the $2,300 - $2,600 range.

Usually there are no incentives at launch. But there's a first time for everything.

I expected it would be launched at the same time as the normal GC but it didn't come out. If the M8 is going to take about 4 months to get to the USA after the press release then I'd guess the delay with the M8 GC will be about the same, once it is launched!

Is that Motegi Red? I think it looks close to Sakhir Orange but perhaps a bit more red.

Does anyone else thing that the spoiler looks a leak weak since it doesn't go across the entire rear end?

I think the m850i spoiler looks a bit worse as it is just too thin and the placement of it towards the outer edges it just weird.

Perhaps vorateiner or someone will make one that is wider and still looks ok

I feel like I would love the M8 so much more if you could just remove those black/carbon pieces in the vents below the headlights. They seem so unnecessarily bulky and painting them body color would look even worse!

Whoever was in charge of designing the front end of the M8 flopped, hard

I find the M850i looks better. I'm very disappointed in what they did with the M8 front. I tried to like it but the more I try the more it bugs me how bad it looks.

Nice! For 200 more bucks I could lease a 570S with 0 down.
