Looking at new M8 coupe, need help

Hi, I am new to the forum and am in the market for an M8 coupe. I have a 2018 C63 Mercedes that’s just uninspiring as my DD. Seems like the M8 would be a great replacement. I hate the new M4 and think the M8 front end is still a great car.

It seems prices are dropping like a rock and one I’m looking at right now the dealer is already offering $24k off msrp. What should I be looking for in these cars as far as options. Any idea on how much off I should look to get? Also looks like there is 100s of 2020 coupe available across the USA which is off considering how late in the year and that there will be no 2021 model.

Thanks for any info.

If you're looking for brand new, you gotta pick up from what the dealers have if they have any. The M8's coupe and vert 2021 were stopped for the north American market however, the 4 door GC is still available.

If you find the C63 uninspiring not sure if you'll like the M8 more. It is faster, but also bigger and heavier and more luxury orientated. But as always YMMV so always extensively drive one before you buy. An F80/82 may be a better choice since you don't like the new front end.
