While the rubber piece will factually be lower- the location of said rubber lip creates a fake view IMHO. I like the lip I have much better. Both are cheap so it works

. The rubber sits inward compared to the Maxton which pushes beyond the oem bumper:

I toyed with the idea of selling it and jumping into a 2021 R8 RWS, but didn't like the numbers on it. Decided to keep the M8 for now as I do occasionally use the rear seat to haul a toddler.
