That is correct lol, the reason why is because initially the program was for BMW M8 grand coupe only but we’ve had so much interest and excitement from coupe and convertible owners that we have decided to build an F91 and F 92 version as well. Our team forgot to adjust the listing!

So if I ordered today, when would my system ship?

Your system would go into production at the beginning of next month at a roughly 3.5 week build time. after that it will go through QC then be shipped to you. Your system would be shipping to you first week in November. Our goal is to have the first batch finished early but we would rather it arrive to you 2 weeks early than 2 weeks late.

I'm curious of the real world performance gains from this addition, however, knowing what a free flowing exhaust does on a turbo car and the fact that this system is titanium, I'm likely right behind you.
My current system over large bumps rattles and isn't perfect fit... So I'm glad this one came out as it should be a somewhat easy bolt on as well. That is one thing I dislike about where OEM's put their cats on some turbo cars, directly to the turbo.... lol So much heat and restriction at the turbo itself, once I can tune cats are gone... lol

Do the secondary bypass pipes! You will still pass inspection! Huge sound gains with those

What’s the pipe diameter for this exhaust?

I installed Valvetronic’s new titanium exhaust and I transferred over the OEM valves and actuators to keep the stock feel and to avoid having a remote for controlling the valves. Unfortunately, it sounds pretty much like the stock exhaust, unless you are in Sport+ and punching the gas. The Valvetronic team did warn me that it would sound better using their setup with the remote, I just didn’t realize it would be so drastic. So, now I have to take it back in to have the Valvetronic valves and remote/harness installed. I’m hoping this fixes the issue, but I’ll report back once it’s completed. Hopefully this prevents anyone else from making the same mistake.

How do you do this? Is it an additional piece of exhaust I need to buy?

Hey there,
Great to hear that you have the system installed. Regarding the sound, it’s important to note that the titanium catback is designed to give you the best sound quality and have the ideal flexibility. Without doing other free flow components it’s hard to expect the car to be a lot louder without a set of downpipes.

Regarding the remote this will help your experience at low speeds as the valves had a tendency to close even when your in sport + with the exhaust button pushed or when you downshift. Using the Valvetronic harness will improve the down low experience.

We recommend getting a set of:

Secondary Cat bypass pipes

from another company. These will assist you in your goal of making your car a decent chunk louder. There are multiple companies making these pipes. Here is a link to a product that we have used in the past and had great sucess:

Will these work on an F93? Also, will adding these require a tune and/or cause a CEL?

great questions,

These will work on F93

and no you do NOT need a tune and you will NOT have a check engine light

The secondaries do not monitors in them, so removing them does not affect the car in anyway.

Awesome, thank you! Last question, these look like they are on back order, are there any others you’ve had success with and would recommend?

Thank you, I really appreciate all the info! Sometimes these things are just trial and error until you get it just the way you want it. I think I can get there with all the information you’ve provided.

Thank you. I see that ER has a Sports Series High Flow Catted Downpipe for S63M Engine with a catless secondary downpipe. Since the primary is still catted, would I still pass an emissions test? Also, if I went this direction, would I need to tune the car?

I have ER secondary's on my system right now and highly recommend them. It is from my understanding even the high flow primary cats trigger CEL sadly... I'd see if Ben has anything more to add though r33_RGSport
