Actually RUF is not a tuner they are a bonafide manufacturer with their own VIN...they base their cars on white bodies and mechanicals supplied by Porsche and build them up...

These strange looking colors were on previous gen Porsches, the color was rarely ordered so Porsche dropped its availability. Ruf re-introduced these colors due to their rarity.

That green 997 is actually black (check the door handle). The car has green foil on it. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=47842

Maybe some people here recall us visiting the Nuerburgring Nordschleife about 1 month ago. At the Parkplatz parking was the RUF RT12, 650BHP(220mph +) rwd lightweightwondercar in babyblue(with integrated rollcage etc etc)

Back then I was asking the guy who's changing the tyres/wheels in this small movie some things about that car. He told me there was going to be a video coverage for german carmag 'auto motor und sport' 'tomorrow' with Stefan Roser(the legendary driftking with the yellow 911CTR more than 15 years ago at the Ring) at the wheel. Some prizewinners of a contest in that mag could join in for a ride. It's in german, but that's not a problem I think. See those faces:
