no, they r not, my old man has LR3, very reliable n filled with useble features, the best 7 seater european SUV IMO.
it can be used as an exessive off-roader, but still will pleasure u on the main road, and it has this "mighty" look, driving an expensive, solid car...

the volvo is nice though, but it looks kinda weird IMO.

LR3 is the choice if you need 7 seats. The rear seats will fit 6' adults in total comfort, and dissapear into the floor when you need cargo space. It is the ultimate SUV, like BMW is the ultimate driving machine. Very well thought out and designed vehicle.

The only downside with the V8 HSE is poor gas mileage.

I test drove and researched nearly everything in this market before buying the LR3 and have owned one for the past 14 months.

I have an LR3...Not the most reliable car, but has PLENTY of room in the thrid row and rides very nicely

Like the Range Rover has? Doubtful. Rear PDC is a must however. NavTV may be developing an aftermarket solution too.
