What's the best image hosting site for high quality images?

I've been using photobucket for sharing pics on here but the quality is terrible since they appear super compressed on these forums. Curious if there are any recommendations for image hosting sites or if image quality is just a general limitation of vbulletin regardless of which image hosting site is used.

Ive had good luck with https://www.flickr.com/ They give you 1TB and the interface for organizing etc is pretty nice.

Heres a example pic shared, Quality is top notch.

Flickr has a Share button that gives you BB Code to embed. You copy the BB code and paste it here.

Its really best just to upload your images directly to Bimmerpost, that way many years later people can still see what you posted. Nothing is more frustrating than finding an informative thread with no pictures bc of broken links or exceeded data usage.

Just click ADVANCE mode when you post... then click on the "+" or "paper clip" icon and upload your pics. Make sure the file size is between 100 and 400mb. You can even more around the pics, once they are uploaded.

The only downside is you can't then click to see the higher resolution version of the picture like you can when the image is hosted offsite.

It appears as though there isn't a way to copy the BB code from the Flickr app. Can anyone else confirm this? In the meantime I'll just upload directly to the forum as others have said. Let's see if this works...

Does anyone use an iOS device to upload photos? Curious if anyone else is noticing the same issues or has workarounds for the previously recommended solutions.

1) There is no way to copy BB Code on Flickr from an iPhone or iPad device. This includes both the Flickr app and direct website. It appears that there was a fix earlier this year, but that fix has gone away since iOS 9 was released.

2) When uploading photos directly on here, despite it showing multiple upload fields- will only allow one image to upload per post. I've tried this on multiple iOS devices with the same result.

Aside from the terrible resolution, Photobucket makes sharing images 50x easier..

I LOATHE Flickr, it's a fucking rabbit's warren, i never know where i am in someone's gallery, navigation and layout is just dreadful.

I much, much prefer Zenfolio. My (outdated) gallery is here ... http://alfiimages.zenfolio.com/

A more modern layout can be created, see my Croatia gallery as an example, i need to convert the rest soon. http://alfiimages.zenfolio.com/croatia

Flickr works really well and is really easy to embed images into forums, e.g.
20130601-e90-m3-002
I've gone through about 10 different services after picasaweb was destroyed by Google in favor of Google+ and landed with flickr.

Do either of you guys use these photo sharing sites on an iOS device? Curious on the compatibility since Flickr doesn't work on iPhone/iPad.

Smugmug finally has a nice app for iOS. Easy to navigate, can choose to have access when off line, easy to upload, etc...

I also use Smugmug and really like it. They upgraded the site not to long ago and not it is much easier to navigate and organize. Works great on all iOS devices.
