So something doesn’t jive here.
Or maybe news doesn’t propagate at equal speed to all directions…
I got a call from the dealership earlier today after my post; they were greenlighted to address the recall and deliver the car in the next few days.

I’m wondering if this “replacement” is planned as a temporary workaround, until a real remedy becomes available.
Perhaps with the thought that a brand new tank has a lower failure probability (in the next 4-6 months).

Yeah this is odd. I will share anything helpful when I can. I am expecting to take delivery next Friday/Saturday but I will ask tomorrow for some details.

I was also looking at that car. They DO seem shady. The car was in an accident, and they were trying to avoid me finding that out.

Well it seems they lifted the stop sale on the M8. The dealership advised me I can pick it up this week.

Just got an update from my SA: Remedy is available for the recall. Parts ordered. They are also replacing my injectors. I’m checking if that’s precautionary, or due to observed damage.
Edit: injectors showing coolant residue. Hence replacement.
