I am surprised the Ford didn't come higher as I have driven one of the new ones and it's a real quality product with amazingly good dynamics.
I can't understand why the BMW didn't come higher as well as I would place it ahead of the Passat, though there is no denying the A4 as top of the tree. |

The 3, G, C, and A4 can be classified as either intro exec sedans, or sports sedans. I wouldn't doubt it if the Audi wins every test based on luxury and comfort, but I'd beg to differ if the test was more about the 'sport' in sport sedan. I'm also curious as to how the Passat placed above the Benz, Ford and Bimmer. I've sat in 'em, ridden in 'em, and they're good, but they're not 2nd-in-class good. Not crazy about this review...if I can call it that; More like pictures with numbers haha.

Yeh, but I'm sure it was due to pricing constraints.

An A4 1.8L against a 3 series 1.8L. Real tough to see the reasoning on that one.

This is not to say there is much wrong with the 318 because there isn't it's only that based on the models in the test the Audi is the best choice. Though I am surprised that the BMW didn't take third spot behind either the C-class or the Ford. |
