Powerful post irishbimmer. Recorded history is barely understood by those who wrote it. Earth history is little known to us naked apes who only recently (recently?) learned awareness.

Off the coast of british columbia there is (proven) evidence of rock walls built by n8vs who's purpose was to hold in tide waters that would create beds of clams and muscles for them to harvest. These signs of human habitation currently reside 150 feet under todays current sea water levels.

Look it up. Its real.

This planet goes through changes. Who r we to think this is how it is and will be for ever and ever amen.

Scanning the news recently, it appears the media and climate alarmists are doubling down on climate change propaganda with almost every other news article containing "Climate Crisis" and/or "Climate Catastrophe" in the title. That, or something negative about Trump (granted, he brings a lot of this on himself with his tweets). I think they realize the gig is almost up with the current and projected colder weather patterns resulting from the solar minimum. Thankfully, they missed their window of opportunity with the 2016 elections; otherwise, we would likely be staring at a huge increase in government regulations, carbon taxes, and large increases in the cost of fuel to further fund this junk science and "green energy" economic shift.

Irony: July 09, 2019; "Yesterday morning ground frost hit parts of Belgium, Holland, Germany and the Czech Republic, as the above chart shows. Unsurprisingly, the media have been curiously silent about it."

Caution about Antarctica Ice Caps breaking off, unstable and to raise sea levels. They are essentially melting.

For sure the planet goes through changes-i once lived in upsate new York and found fossil rocks with prehistoric plants and animals from when it was an inland sea. However, those changes took place over many thousands of years while the changes that appear to have started for us will be much more rapidly compressed. I think. Probably a god idea to do what we can, instead of debating if its real or not-just my opinion although I drive a gaz guzzling 575 hp car and contribute my share to the problem!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ice_Age

This shits happened in the past. And if its about to happen again i pray to baby jesus that you bump up to 1000 hp and help global warming us away from snowy roads.

Its my belief that the majority of modern humans have little clue of how weather (or politics) works and that hearsay directs their public opinion.

Heard on the radio just today up here in canada. Due to abnormally cold weather the avocado crop is not doing well and we should expect prices to rise for the time being.

Anybody heard about frost this last morning in northern germany and belgium? This year so far is showing an $18 b plus loss in the corn and soy crops in the midwest usa. Due to rain and cold.

I dunno.

Greenland glaciers are growing.

Look it up. These are facts.

You are wasting your time Irish. Folks on Joe Sixpack forums like this don't understand science and are not interested in learning.

arkie6 Go back to reading the bs put out by Heartland Institute. I won't ask to you to educate your self with facts by peer reviewed science articles. I just told my glass of ice tea to do that..same result as telling you. Also you didn't bother reading my previous explanation as to why sea ice is increasing..what a surprise. You would make a great agricultural "cherry picker"

Scheesch..the problem with arguing with deniers is that they don't even know when they have had their ass handed to them..It really spoils the fun for me

Like I said..The ice is melting and the oceans are warming. On the happy side for you guys. Nothing can really be done no matter what mankind does. Its really to late. Its like trying to stop an 80mph 200 coal car freight train coming down from the Rocky Mountains in the length of a large Walmart parking lot...Impossible.

These M.M.G.W arguments resemble a bunch of monkeys trying to fck a football.

I'm not sure what you're saying but this is what I was talking about....

I dont believe that a 2 mile high glacier is going to cover Chicago by 2050. But i do believe that we are heading into cooler times and that adjustments will need to be made to sustain proper food supplies.

Is the sky falling? Nah. Is anybody noticing empty shelves in the canned veggie areas in your local walmarts?

In the end it will be the cold of the universe that gets us all that is if there are even any life forms with intelligence around in billions of years. Once the last star goes out it will be utter darkness and cold. All life will succumb to this fate unless of course there exist an infinite amount of universes to make up an infinite multiverse.

Put those lyrics to a beatbox and an auto-tuned singer (the weekend maybe? Radiohead may be a better choice. ) and you got yourself some radio ready material.

Its entertaining yes. Even Einstein agreed that the math and physics behind this all is plausible and that he believed in it!

I do believe the oceans are rising-this seems to be factual; especially living in Miami or on low lying islands in the Atlantic. Some of the other manifestations may not be attributable to global warming but could eventually be blamed. It will likely be too late to effect change once realized.
So, we must adapt-perhaps inland parcels will become more valuable, etc. In any case-it will be my grandchildren and theirs that blame the current administration for their complete inactivity to help ward off climatic change that is man-made.
