The impressive part of this laptop is that the M850i only has 245 front tyres with the M5 having 275s. The M8 might be quite a bit quicker with the additional power and the wider tyres.

Nothing to do with being a badge snob.

I couldn't believe the difference between a fully loaded loaner f30 335i M "performance" and and my f80 M3.

The engine, responsiveness and stability aren't even in the same realm.
