So nationalism of individual European nations, BAD. EU nationalism, GOOD.

May was a useless idiot and now she left the door wide open for Comrade Corbyn and pals.

F_CK! You beat me to that post! I forsee another referendum. The ultimate disaster would be BREXIT and Corbyn in power. He may be worse than Trump.

per FOX news:
British Prime Minister Theresa May suffered a crushing defeat Tuesday as Parliament overwhelmingly rejected her Brexit deal with the European Union -- a defeat that places the future of Brexit in doubt and is likely to spark calls for May’s ouster via a general election.

May’s withdrawal agreement was voted down 432-202, the largest for a prime minister in the history of the House of Commons. May was expected to lose, but the extent to which she lost was significant and marks a devastating blow for her leadership and her ability to go back to Brussels and negotiate further concessions.

Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn immediately tabled a motion of no-confidence in the government, which is likely to be debated on Wednesday. Should that pass, it could eventually lead to a snap general election if another government is not formed within two weeks.

Yeah, the only saving grace is that the Conservatives are the only party that have enough seats to create a government right now. I don't think they would let it get to the point that a snap election is needed, for the very reasons you and I are both concerned about.

Who knows though, all politicians around the world have demonstrated a serious lack of common sense and ability to do the right thing, pretty much since the dawn of time.

In this case I prefer May to Corbyn, 100%.

Socialism & Europe won't get along eventually. And we know that for >100 years.

For a start she's not a moron, she's working bloody hard attempting to do the impossible and doing it with a lot of dignity, because someone has to stand up and be counted.

There isn't a majority in the House of Commons for Brexit, no matter what the deal. The EU cannot give May a deal that will pass through the House of Commons as it doesn't exist, no one can complete this task it's impossible.

Corbyn has to wait until 2022 for the next general election no matter what he does, he cannot force an election, period.

And it's not England it's the UK, if you're going to hurl insults at our PM and pontificate on the matters at hand then at least get the country right.

Of course she did it was a nailed on certainty she would win, she backed him into a corner and told him to call it to his face on live TV.

Corbyn and her "impossible task" guarantees her premiership, no Tory want's him in charge and no one wants her job.

I disagree. She's not a moron. But she's certainly not a Maggie Thatcher.

UK Parliament Rejects Theresa May's Brexit Plan Yet Again
NPR-10 minutes ago
In a vote that might shape Britain for years to come, Parliament has once again rejected the Brexit deal that Prime Minister Theresa May had struck with the European Union regarding the terms of the U.K.'s exit.

With syria winding down, immigration is on the backburner it seems. I would expect another brexit vote, that would pass by 55%. Britain seems too intertwined in Europe to leave and expect better trade deals.

They'll reject the next vote (leave with no deal) and then it gets interesting as to how they convince 27 countries to all approve an extension.

A few months or ongoing or f*off?

Many analysts/traders/port managers I know seem to be betting they don't leave, constantly buying sterling on the dips...
