Climate “scientists” quote past climate scales then apply “the last 30 years” as some indication.

It’s like looking at last weeks weather, then determining, through “science” that today’s 1 minute of weather is somehow indicative of future events. They’re the masters at changing scales to create fear and uncertainty, as they always do.

I’m curious where people think the last ice age that covered most of North America at 4km thick went?

Nothing has been more beneficial to life on this planet, especially humans, with the receding of that ice age. It created the very rivers and fresh water supplies that sustained the life we see, and have seen before. It’s why we have reptile fossils in Northern Alberta.

They are building space ships, but you'd have to be Bill Gates or Rupert Murdoch to get on board.....

You realize that you’re not reflecting climate change, but weather.

I’m curious where you think the last glacier that covered most of North America, at 4km thick, that lowered the sea levels 400 ft, went?

Was it my car or cow farts?

Why is it that you believe that warming period should have just ended? Seems to align quite nicely to Al Gore losing the election and big oil supporting Bush.

50, 100 years is not climate scale. It’s predicting next years weather from a 5 minute interval at some point yesterday.

Before you talk “science”, remember that science is a process (Scientific method) not an absolute answer.

Guess how much CO2 is in the atmosphere from natural sources?
And anthropogenic?
(Please research)
And the last 50 years of this percentage increase has had what kind of effect?

Apparently climate change isn’t affected by third world economies, because the Paris accord allows them to “moderate”. Imagine the energy consumption of 500 million people entering middle class....

But I should ride a bike, pay more taxes and be a vegan.

Biggest hoax ever.

It's a religion. All based on dogma and faith and adherence to commandments dictated from on high.

Climate has changed. Always has, always will. Merely by picking particular start and end dates from the historical record, you can make a temperature graph that supports any claim you wish it to support. That's not science; that's propaganda.

You realize that on a climate scale, “about to go wrong” is about 10 to 20,000 years?

The biggest red flag is when the alarmists proclaim that "the science is settled." That's an oxymoron. If it's settled, it's not science. If it's science, it's not settled.

Exactly. Science is a process called “the scientific method”.

Liberals just want more taxes, it gives them fuel to further their agenda on the population. Curious that the other science, known as math, never gets a voice here.

Math never gets a voice, and neither does real science. They desperately cling to flawed, agenda-driven bought-and-paid-for science like anthropogenic climate change, but completely dismiss the solid scientific findings about GMOs, because Monsanto == Satan.

They're anti-science, but more importantly anti-human, anti-progress and anti-success. They hate that they're $250K in hock for their worthless Pre-Columbian Feminist Literature Studies degree and making $40K a year managing a Starbucks, when guys like us drive around carefree in our fancy cars. Cars with 1/2" fuel lines. Cars where, if the tach craps out, we switch to the gas gauge and shift every 1/4-tank. They've been indoctrinated to resent success and profoundly duped by the public education and university gulag system. They think that humans (especially those despicable rich white straight non-liberal ones) are the cause of every problem they've been trained to worry about.

Canada produces 716 million tons C02 per year.
30 % worlds boreal forest, 10% worlds forest are in Canada, which is 347 million hectares of trees absorbing 2220.8 million tons CO2/yr.

We absorb over 3 times what we produce, which is 1.6% global GHG’s.

This doesn’t take into account the fresh water, and oceans that are also carbon sinks.

But Greta says our trees don’t count, only Chinese trees...?

Interesting that Europeans, who have decimated their forests, have no oil or gas, ridicule Canadians for “bad environmental standards” and we should buy their wind mills and solar panels? The bulk of our population already have green energy. BC, Quebec are 95%+ green duty with Ontario over 85%, and growing. Yet Germany is still 30% coal and importing energy from communist Russia.

So what’s the Canadian carbon tax for? It is designed to redistribute money from wealthy to less wealthy and support the unaffordable Liberal socialist ideals.

It’s a guilt trip to neuter our resources and therefore our economic clout as Trudeau pads his opportunities to get a seat with the UN.
