Need advice on these M8C listings

Hello bimmer folks,

This is my first post on here, I'm looking to buy a used M8C or GC, and so far I am eyeing these listings.

https://elkgrove.niello.com/used/BMW...09c5a9c6b2.htm

https://www.bmwofmountainview.com/us...344715006f.htm

These listings seem pretty solid to me, I can probably negotiate a few grand off as well. Any red flags I should look out for?

Thanks!

I can't help with price. I'd much prefer one with the lower miles but I'm not telling you anything you don't know. What I can tell you its the grand coupe doesn't have bowers and Wilkins audio. It's a forum members favorite. Not only is the sound superior but with the ambient light it really jazzes up the interior

hmmmmmmmmm

I like the coupe better (barely) but it has 18k more miles and about 7 months less oem warranty on the clock.

26k is alot for me so personally Id take the GC.

Is either a CPO?

None are CPO, the GC looks good but having no B&W audio is devastating.

ehhhh I have had both (had BO with my 2020 gc and dont have it with my 23 coupe).... its better but Im no audiophile and care more about the exhaust note and power (which are gonna be the same or close) but the miles are huge for me and far more of a value add vs the system which you can easily fix. You cant fix 18k miles.

Edit: For me its going to be a chassis design choice coupled with reliability vs the cockpit amenities which are not material enough. Again, my opine having had both. If the coupe was low in miles its a non brainer but that blue on the GC is striking to say the least.

Also whats the real wear and tear on the leather inside ... that launch edition leather can show marks really easily especially with all the seat time. Tire wear would be concern too.

Out of curiosity how did the "car whisperer" determine the warranty left on the clock? Granted the mileage counts and I'd too pass on the Coupe based on that but I couldn't determine an in service date for either based on the postings on either dealers site. Both are 2020s but the $1M question is the end service date as even at 26K for the coupe still room in the 50K base warranty. Rather it will all come down to the in service date as the 4yr mark on that will drive the expiration.

Hehe
Top up the gran coupe looks better but top down i will choose the vert
The best looking is the coupe overall (again it is personal preference)
I switched from a vert to a coupe but i am not a big fan of the gran coupe because of the added weight

I went for higher mileage (35k) on my 2020 M8 GC. I didn’t care about miles as this thing was going to get heavily modded from the get go and warranty was going to be voided instantly. I was happy that someone else ate the depreciation hard on this thing. I was more picky about colors and options than mileage. Car exterior and interior still looked like it was new out of the showroom even with two plus years of heavy mileage. If you are not modding than mileage and warranty may be a more important factor for you.
