I am thinking I may have found the car. She's black on black M8GC with driving assistant, driving pro, and comfort seating. Secretly, I was hoping for the B&W system or even a comp, BUT I am sure I will have plenty of smiles without the badges.
Here is the deal.. 36mo/10k mi MSRP of 136k discounted down $14.5k .00126 MF Max MSD DAS $3586 with 1st mo payment $1562ish monthly We're still trying to figure tax situation out with SC, (out of state dealership) but I am thinking its a sales tax fee of $500 max with property tax being at 6%. The property should be collected yearly, not added to the payment correct? If it is added to the payment, would be a first for me. Here is the dilemma.. There is a 2022 M8 GC Comp showing up to a local dealer in a few weeks. I'm first in line for the shot at it. It has all the same features as the above car, but with the Competition package. It is also the SAME MSRP.. Unfortunately, this car doesn't have any sort of discounts off of MSRP due to being one of the first in the country. I mean.. Even if it was 5% off, it would be $17xx range for payments, I feel as if that may justify the difference right? Whereas this car is at $15xx. Anyhow, just my thoughts, this will be my first time going with BMW, so it has been a fun one learning all of the ins and outs of their process. It's all about the bigger discount if you're leasing, though. Inflate that MSRP all you want if you're going to keep the residual at the same percentage yet sell if to me for the same price.

So all the games are in the cap reduction, which is the amount that comes straight off your lease depreciation total. |

This payment still seems high. Even paying full $134,000 price with absolutely zero incentives it should be $1899 + taxes unless your taxes are that much higher. A local dealer told me there is $8k lease credit on 2021 M8 GC. I dont see it actually shown anywhere, is this accurate? |

Ive offered this on a 2021 M8 GC MSRP - $137,745 Selling price $121,000 incentives, - $3k loyalty and $8k Lease credit which is what I was told Takes price down to $110k. Payment low $1200's + sales tax. Others on swap a lease offering $1250-$1325 payments for similar but there isnt many 2021's left. But why go higher if they are going to give Competition package for free now. |

I suspect monthly's will still be in the same range. BMW/FS will probably mess with residuals etc.
I dunno! Weird to me that they are dropping the msrp by this much; there is probably a play here and long term strategy imo.

Managers best offer was
MSRP - $137,745 Selling price - $114,745 (taking off $3k loyalty). The $8,000 was just cash they are allowed to use, it wasnt an actual BMW incentive. So basically the discount off the vehicle was $20,000 + $3k loyalty. Payment comes to around $1420 + taxes. Any opinions on that? I do have a X5 thats 8k under my allowed mileage thats ending in June, they should be able to profit off that with it being under mileage, I could use that as an additional bargaining chip. |
